Kingdom Hearts has exploded and it is glowing pink. Zexion is sitting on the Altar of Naught watching it rebuild itself.
Zexion: Ansem the Wise huh? More like Ansem the Foolish. He stares more intensely at Kingdom Hearts Who would have thought it’d be you Roxas to sever the rope that ties the organization together? He smells something That smell is… it seems familiar.
Seemingly out of nowhere the figure of Xehanort appears.
Zexion: Xem— Xehanort!
Xehanort: Well it’s nice to see you too Ienzo.
Zexion: I thought you were…
Xehanort: Dead? They thought you were too last time I checked.
Zexion: Mind as well be. Look what I’ve become an empty shell; a nobody not even deserving of the name that you call me.
Xehanort: Now, now Ienzo it’s all for the sake of research of the heart. Now that I’m back I’m sure to be able to find you—
Zexion: If there is any finding I will be finding it on my own. After all when we first did this you were the one that said to me that there will be no turning back and I won’t. Not even for you.
Xehanort: Ahh my sixth apprentice you’re still the same as ever. Never wanting to get your hands dirty for fear of failure. he laughs
Zexion: Now we both know that’s not how I do things! pulls out two light sabers.

Sounds like something straight out of a cut scene in the next Kingdom Hearts, but actually it's straight from my dreams. Now a few notes about why this happened:
1. Somewhere in KH:COM Ansem/Xehanort says that the more Riku relies on darkness the closer he gets to his return or something like that. To that extent I was going with the idea that once Riku fully relied on the darkness to defeat Roxas Xehanort returned.
2. Well since you never see Zexion die I figured that he's alive somewhere watching the fall of the Organization. He did predict it. (if you remember the rope speech)
3. About the light sabers well that's what I call Xemnas' weapon. And I have read somewhere that Zexion copies your weapons. Now that I think of it i should have chosen the keyblade instead.
