Waiting to be JudgedI've taken lives; I've given them  
I've changed shaped and molded them  
I've changed my mind on a whim.  What will they say about me?  
 
To a being who has lived forever it  
seems  My life's gone by without meaning  
My growth has been stunted for the  better of me.  What? They are binding me to a tree?  A tree, a tree for all eternity  Forever looking upon the graves  The graves of those that I have killed  And overlooking the future of the lives  
that I have changed.   
The ultimate punishment without a name  I am a loser to this game.   Waiting to be Judged

TwinsBeautiful fraternal twin brothers  Happily touching the sky  We would gaze upon their beauty  
from afar.  Across the huge playground  they ruled.  We admired them; the world  did too.   
They never grew yet they were  
rivaled  All that was natural;  All that was cool.  When you rode piggyback  as they offered you rides  It always felt like you would  fly.   
They danced in the snowstorms.  They braved the hurricanes  That tossed them around.  They stood tall and proud,  Rulers of the concrete playground.

Since the day I was born.  She was among the hushed whispers  That shouted 'witch!'  Trouble smiled when the letter appeared  The emerald ink shone while  
My parents asked 'what is this?'  She was with me on the train  
When I met some famous friends  She was with me on those lonely   nights.  She was with me when I cried.  Year after year she watched me help  The 'boy who lived' find his way.  She was there in the face of death  She guided me out safely each time.  She watched me grow as I came to know

A Different World 7It was funny how the rain fell. It rarely fell like a bucket pouring over the Earth, but more or less the raindrops picked where they wanted to fall. The first drops always took the best spots while leaving its lessers, the late comers to take up the remaining spots before the Earth becomes sodden and soggy.   
Even liked watching this. To him it was an exercise in memory. The raindrops always seemed to remember their place and purpose in society. They remembered everything: how to fall, where to fall and to universally create puddles. Were raindrops really that that complex? Probably not, but it seemed to confirm questions in Even' A Different World 7

Yay we are finally starting our attempt at a collaborative long piece. By we I mean ~FstLtHawkeye and I. It is called For Better or Worse I do The first part is posted here. I am currently a student studying game development. I want to one day write the dialogue to JRPG's. I have been writing since I came in second place in a writing contest for my city in sixth grade. Prose is really my first love but I have been writing poetry since 2004 and I guess I'm actually pretty good at it. I write a lot of fan-poetry and I think it is an art form that is neglected especially on this site.
